Creating When You Feel Like Crap

I would like to say I’m consistently focused, creative & productive. I would like to say that every morning I rise with the sun, make a cup of tea, and spend time in quiet contemplation & meditation. Then, I proceed to work on my novel, complete Tarot readings & cook a healthy meal. With a smile!

I’d reaaaallly like to say these things, but it would be a dirty, damnable lie.

On a walk this week, I passed by an elementary school. I happened to walk by at noon, when the sun was high in the sky, & I witnessed every kid’s favorite part of the day: RECESS!

Behind the fence that separates them from the outside world, I saw kids hooting, hollering, running, chasing, skipping, laughing, and flinging their arms out with joy. As I smiled to myself, taking in the scene, I realized it bore a striking resemblance to the scene on the Sun card.

I try not to play favorites with my Dear Tarot Tuesday questions, but this one is high on the list. ‘K’ wants to move forward with passions & goals, but instead feels frozen in place. In this video, we look at what might be the cause of this paralysis and what ‘K’ can do to get unstuck. This is something I can personally relate to, and it’s the type of situation I think Tarot is very well-suited for.
