Partake in a serving of synchronicity today as I pull some cards and let them spark the conversation! Topics covered include:
- being brutally honest with yourself when you make excuses for not getting things done
- strategies for doing more of what you really WANT to do with your time
- how to hold yourself to realistic expectations
Plus, some real talk about the future of this podcast.

Carrie, I hope you continue your podcast. I am a psychotherapist in Indianapolis. I took a class last month from Susannah Conway. She introduced me to your website. I think you have a wonderful website. I should have thanked you before. Blessings to you and all of the work you are putting into the world. (I am also writing a nouvella for a producer. I have given myself an August deadline. It is daunting. I am using my cards to encourage me through the process.)
I also love the work of Danielle LaPorte. I loved the quote. It encouraged me.
Good work and thank you.
Beth Johnson
Hi I also came to know about Carrie through Susannah Conway’s course 🙂
I follow Susannah on Instagram, she has a gorgeous online presence. I had no idea she mentioned me in a course! I am flattered.
Hi Beth! That’s very cool, thanks for your feedback! I think it is amazing that you are using the cards to help your writing process – that’s one of my favorite ways to use tarot. Very nice to ‘meet’ you 🙂
Carrie! I found you a few months ago while searching for more meaning on the wild unknown tarot (which I’ve had for 4 years) and really enjoy your interpretations between the decks. I weave in and out on my dedication to the whole thing (not to say I don’t value and use it constantly on myself because I have mostly only given readings to myself) – but in the last year I have been giving readings to other people. I’m so glad I found you! This podcast was extremely helpful- and so much of what u say I was intuitively already approaching or doing and I’m so grateful you speak the same language.
Thank you. I look forward to knowing you more.
Hey there! I’m so glad you found something that resonates with you here. That was one of my favorite podcast episodes to record – it’s obviously a topic I’m very passionate about! Lovely to meet you. 🙂
Oops- this comment was meant for the “ways to give a meaningful tarot”…
Carrie, I really enjoy your podcast, but I definitely understand the need to bring focus back to the things that fuel your passions and bring you joy. I must admit that I selfishly hope you do keep it going in some capacity because it makes my commutes so much more enjoyable and educational. I especially loved this most recent episode. As a people pleaser and overdoer, I often struggle with balance in my life and this episode has given me much food for thought.
Thank you for helping me grow so far during my tarot adventure. I look forward to what the future holds.
Thanks, Caitlin! It makes me smile to think of people listening to me during their commutes, I’m glad you’ve been enjoying it. Thanks for letting me know <3 🙂
Hi Carrie, I absolutely love your podcasts, though do understand if you feel called in another direction. As a writer myself, and oracle reader, I must say that I got away from my writing also and have been feeling the call to go back to it, which I’ve been doing more of. Feels good.
I really enjoyed all your podcasts, but especially loved the business ones. Though I’d love to see you branch out with other interests as you mentioned in the podcast today – so many you mentioned are of interest to me also.
A podcast is nice as I don’t always have as much time as I’d like to read all the many blogs I wish I could – but podcasts I can listen while I ride my exercise bike and get ready in the mornings. 😉
At any rate, no matter what you decide, I look forward to your updates!
Thanks, Barbara! It’s funny how easy it often is to stray from the things that bring us joy (like writing). I really like listening to podcasts as well. I think that’s why I wanted to start one! I appreciate your feedback and support.
Hi Carrie,
I have just listened to your last two podcasts. I want to say I’m sorry to see you stop the podcasts (at least for now), but I totally understand. I am a writer far more than a speaker. However, I’m so glad you did the podcast for a little while because I feel so much more connected to you now. You have done a reading for me in the past, and it was great. Now that I’ve spent some time listening to you on the podcast and realize even more how special you are, will probably sign up for another reading when possible. I do want you to know, though, that whatever you choose to do, I will be following. Much gratitude to you.
That means a lot to me, Mary! Thanks so much. <3
